Blackstone Magic Detective

Blackstone the Magic Detective was a mystery-detective series broadcast from 1948 to 1949 on WOR-Mutual. The show starred Ed Jerome as Harry Blackstone dubbed, "the world's greatest living magician." Ted Osborne and Fran Carlon played Blackstone's friends John and Rhoda.

A typical Blackstone show often opens with Blackstone's recollection of one of his mystery cases. John and Rhoda act as sidekicks, posing questions for Blackstone to answer. The show often ends with Blackstone's performance and elaboration of his tricks.
